mat kearney - breath in, breath out

Well it's took a while, but I finally went to Wimpole to do a photo-shoot with my friend Sara [insert's horrible photo of her & me - I'm on the right]. 

Please excuse how pale I look..

Anyway..here are some of the pictures - it was so hard narrowing them down to this many! I went a bit overboard..{click to enlarge}

The hall itself was built around 1640 and is surrounded by over 3,000 acres of parkland and farmland - all of which are owned by the National Trust. It was originally opened to the public in 1983. North Park is where the Gothic Tower is. 

 

 

 

Sara + I were always going to plan taking photos of anything that caught my eye until we got to the 'ruin' and then when we got there, she was going to model by it and look through the windows etc. bit like this (but obviously in an older, more rugged landscape):

 

However, when we got to folly, we found that there was a huge gate surrounding it, I can vaguely remember coming here a couple of years ago and can recall it being there, so we went to the gate and there was a chain there and a sign saying 'NO ENTRY' and some rubbish about health and safety. I was seriously considering trespassing until goody-two-shoes mentioned that there were people watching us.. (At this point I looked very weird standing there head tilted to the side, and looking like some criminal that had just escaped some prison) So realizing that the fence hopping plan might not work, she stomped off down the hill to find the car and abandoned the plan. Show's how committed my models are! humph. But I got a couple of nice (kind of) photos. It look's really flat on camera but my lord it's really not!
