like we used to - a rocket to the moon

Whoahh, sorry for the lack of posts lately.. I've got exams coming up real soon, so my teachers are cramming mocks and essays and all that lot on to us now.

Anyway I was just curious about what you all think of petty rivalry's between colleges (and other establishments)

The reason I'm asking this is because I was on my bus the other day on my way to college and I saw a girl that went to my secondry school,, being nice i smiled at her, she completely sneered at me like i'd pushed her into a tub of custard or something. She then went on to complain - rather loudly I might add - to her mum about how everyone from my college "only goes there because they didn't get into" the college she goes to.
Now Hill's Road and Long Road have always had a rivalry between the two. Hill's thinks that anyone that goes to Long is stupid, failed exams and couldn't get into Hills and if you go to Long you think that they're all stuck up, arragont twits. (guess which one I go to ;) I was always the 'that's stupid, not all of them think that.' kind of person, i guess a sort of Switzerland until that bus journey... I don't agree completely with the 'stuck up snobs' at all but I think that a lot of them have changed. For instance the people I used to be friend's with ignore me now cause I don't go there and its a bit pathetic. But then at the same time my college can be just as bad - if not worse. What I don't understand is that the staff sort of encourage it sometimes. At the end of the day Hill's has always been the 'maths, science' school the 'smart' one and Long has always been the 'Arty, sports' college. They're both as good as each other. Just different.

My opinion is that everyone should be equal :) And that nobody should be judged for wanting to do something different, whether you want to be arty or book smart. It should be completely up to you.
So go and find your dreams because you're life is exactly that. YOURS. So go get 'em tigers!

your biggest mistake - ellie goulding

hey sexieeeees :)

after much umm-ing and ahh-ing I have concluded that I'm going to put my exam photos up, unfortunately I can't put my traditional photos (ones from a film camera) on the computer in case I scan them - which I would but I have no clue how to use our scanner. This kind of bums me out a little as I think they are soo much better than my digital ones but there we go. Perhaps i'll try to take a picture? Hmmm...

p.s. only the first 2 are exam...the other 2 i threw in for good measure (: just snapped some really quick ones of the traditional so I apologise for terrible quality, weird lighting and the wonky photos, its hard taking pictures of things stuck in sketch books

the last 2 are the same picture. and the first one really isn't that grey! Also the white dots were little bits of leaves and things that had fell off the tree right above the picture - its a reflection btw :)

p.p.s twitter is www.twitter.com/magicaldreaming

baby - justin bieber

Oh how embarrasing. Its contagious - that's my excuse.

Okayy so yesterday morning my conceiler brush went walk-abouts. where to you ask? i'm not sure yet. So I had to find a substitute..My brushes are in desperate need of a wash as most of them have green eyeshadow or something else on them so i could hardly use them.. and well for some reason my fingers were covered in glitter. Don't ask... As i was searching my desk area I came across some cotton buds. Normally i would completely ignore them but as I was in a hurry I thought why not? Turns out that they are really good! I just dabbed the conceiler where i needed it and then blended with the cottom pad. It's not as good as a brush but still pretty good!

Secondly, my face is playing up something chronic. For some reason i've been having huge allergic reactions and my neck keeps coming up in a rash, and directly above the apples of my cheeks have been really red. Weird thing was that I haven't changed my make up routine at all so it couldn't have been that. However, recently I started using a Clean and Clear face wash, normally my face doesn't react to anything but for some reason after using C&C my whole face errupted in rashes, went blotchy and i got a heck of a lot of spots. As lovely as mothers generally are she told her twin about how 'crappy' my skin is being and my aunt decided as a late birthday present she'd send me some Liz Earl products. I LOVE this brand. I would marry this brand if i could, it's that good. All of her products use natural ingredients and none of them are tested on animals. It's not the cheapest but it really is worth it. The good thing about this brand is that if you don't want to try the full size bottles and spend a lot of money you can just get the try me kits.
These include:
- Cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser 30ml
- Instant Boost Skin Tonic 50ml
- Skin Repair Dry/sensitive 15ml
- Skin Repair Normal/Combination
- 1 Pure Muslin Cloth
- Zip up kit bag - 12cm x 16cm x 4cm
The muslin cloth is for the cleanse and polish in which you apply one or two pumps of the cleanser onto dry skin and use your fingertips to gently massage the cream over your face + neck. Then rinse out the muslin cloth in hand-hot water and wring it out so it is damp. Then use the cloth to wipe off the cream using a clean section for each part of your face. Rinse the cloth throughly in clod water and let it dry naturally - not on a radiator etc. To close the pores be sure to rinse your face in COLD water afterwards and then pat try with a soft towel.

Another thing that i'm competly addicted to is Zoo World on facebook. I'm not overly keen on facebook at the present moment but right now Zoo World is totally doing it for me.
Also Gossip Girl (just typed Gril) returned on wednesday:) YAY. is it me or is it always ITV2 and E4 with all the best programmes? i mean come on channel 4 and ITV1.. you're all into documentaries now.
I've also finally found what my final photos are going to be in my exam. I would show you but unfortunately they are on my PC and I'm on the laptop. Instead of using my lovely friend Emma I went back to my original idea of using these shots from a fountain in Hampton Court Palace (Henry the 8th's house) which are lovely :) Also went on a jolly walk around the Botanic Gardens in Cambridge as its local and I needed a shoot that I could develop later that day in photog. I've never said this about any of my photos before but i'm really impressed with them and even Isaac (Photography genious in my class) said he liked them which is a first. So if  you're in Cambridge anytime in the future and want somewhere to go, go to the Botanic Gardens. Emma's in love with it and quite frankly so am I. It's gorgeous there. Lush to the extreme. Anywho I've got to get back to watching Last Night's Desperate Housewives now. Speak (or type) to you lovelies soon
